Description:
The 10ft SILVER 333 represents a charming and highly portable interpretation of the classic wooden runabout. Designed for one or two people, this compact craft combines minimalist dimensions with spirited performance. Lightweight at approximately 176 lbs, it can be easily transported on the roof of a mid-size car, making it ideal for spontaneous outings on lakes and sheltered waters.
Our workshop faithfully recreates this refined small-craft design using premium marine materials-including Western Red Cedar, Mahogany, Teak, and fiberglass reinforcement-sealed with high-quality marine epoxy and finished with System Three marine spar varnish. Each vessel is entirely handcrafted using a stitch-and-glue construction method variant, with fiberglass sheathing applied to the bottom for added durability and abrasion resistance. The integrated bow crash-box and double-bottom cockpit structure are carefully built to enhance safety, ensuring buoyancy, unsinkable characteristics, and a self-bailing cockpit. Typical build time requires approximately 3-4 months of detailed craftsmanship.

History:
The SILVER 333 was developed as a compact reinterpretation of the classic mid-century wooden runabout. Inspired by the elegant sport boats of the 1940s-1960s, it translates their timeless styling into a lightweight, highly portable format suitable for modern recreational use.
Designed with amateur builders in mind, the SILVER 333 utilizes a simplified stitch-and-glue construction method. This approach, which became popular in the late 20th century, reduces complex joinery while maintaining structural strength-making handcrafted wooden boat ownership more accessible.
Despite its small size, the design incorporates modern safety concepts such as a forward crash-box and double-bottom, self-bailing cockpit for buoyancy and security. Capable of planing with a modest outboard engine, the SILVER 333 successfully blends classic aesthetics, practicality, and ease of construction in a compact recreational craft
